Taco

Taco was dropped by a predator in front of our home at 3 weeks of age. She will be a full year on September 26th, 2025. She is an African Sulcata. She was immediately taken to the vet for a health check and has been for a check up every 6 months and health checks anytime we boarded her. Documents are available upon request. We were never intending on keeping her as we know and understand the commitment these cuties require, but instead just assisting her through her first year of life to ensure the best success for her. I am a licensed vet tech and have had the privilege of assisting her with all of her needs. Now she is older, exploring more, growing more, and requires needs that I cannot give her on a temporary basis. I am only interested in re-homing her to someone who understands the long term commitment, dietary and growth of the species, and the outdoor area requirements that she will need, etc. She is very sweet, still head-shy, but LOVES to explore.

Appa

I found Appa around gowan and valley Dr in the middle of the street, I’ve been trying to find the owners w no luck and recently found out about this website. I unfortunately cannot keep her but have been keeping her safe and fed. If you are interested in homing her or if you are the owner please contact me!!! She also has a indent on her shell a little line on the back in case anyone recognizes her (I think it’s a girl)

Keno

I adopted Keno 2012, as his owner moved, He's about 20 years old and is very social. He comes to the sliding door when hungry & enjoys prepared plates the most. In 2014 he survived a dog attack, but after special vet care and $$$ he is just fine, just a little chewed up. We have had tortoises as pets in Las Vegas since 1964. End of this year we are moving to another state and unfortunately cannot take them with us. We need to re-home them before they brumate/hibernate. Sorry but we will NOT ship them... we will only deliver to a loving home. Keno can be adopted with his stepbrother Speedy (40 y/o). They eat off the same plate & sleep in the same burrow.
