Ying hatched in our yard 14 years ago, along with 4 other brothers (Yang, Kiwi, Sheldon & Morty) They all get along great in their habitat and are very social. His favorite brother is Yang, They all eat prepared plates & graze on plants and flowers. They climb all over each other in their environment. We have had tortoises as pets in Las Vegas since 1964. End of this year we are moving to another state and unfortunately cannot take them with us. We need to re-home them before they brumate/hibernate. Sorry but we will NOT ship them... we will only deliver to a loving home. These boys can be taken together 2 or 3, no fighting as they have been together since hatching.

Rockett hatched in August 2006. My wife named him Rockett because of how fast he came to us when we had a dish of food and because our last name has two T's. Last year we moved to a newly constructed house and I dug a burrow for him. My wife doesn't want the burrow where I dug it and I injured my arms and previously fractured spine digging the existing one and cannot dig a new one. Plus, our yard is too small for roaming and we are not going to grow any vegetation to help supplement the tortoise food that we buy from Amazon.

Healthy, friendly, young desert tortoise eats well. Housed outdoors. Feed natural tortoise diet, no people foods. I have an older male and they do not like one another so I am forced to rehome the little young one. Looking for a home that can provide the proper yard for him. No swimming pool.
