This Privacy Policy was developed because of our commitment to provide the highest-quality products and services combined with the highest level of integrity in dealing with our customers. When you visit our website you may provide us with personal information you knowingly choose to disclose that is collected on an individual basis and website use information collected on an aggregate basis as you and others browse our Web site.

Personal Information You Choose to Provide

If you choose to purchase products or services from our Site, you will need to give personal information for shipping purposes. For example, you may need to provide name, shipping address, email address, home and business phone numbers, as well as other personal information. Credit card information will be collected through a biller and will not be recorded by our site.

When you send confidential personal credit card information to a biller through our site, a secure server encrypts all information you input before it is sent. Standard email that you send to us may not be secure.

As authorized by the Board of Directors on a case-by-case basis, names may be provided for research, advocacy, or other similar purposes but not for promotion, sales, or solicitation.

We may disclose information when legally compelled to do so. This may occur when we believe that the law requires it or for the protection of our legal rights.

We are not responsible for the policies and practices employed by websites linked to or from our site. Paying for Your Order

You may pay for your order with a debit card or major credit card, by using PayPal, Stripe or Square, which accept Visa®, MasterCard®, American Express® and Discover® Card, and debit cards with a MasterCard® or Visa® logo. The biller will debit your account at the time orders are placed. How the biller charges your credit/debit card or checking account is at the sole discretion of the biller.

Shipping

All orders placed on this Site are subject to product availability and will be shipped within 48 hours. In the rare event that your order doesn’t arrive, we must receive notification of lost items via email and/or phone within thirty (30) days of receipt of the shipping confirmation email.

Returns

You may return unused items sold through the website within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We’ll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.). Tortoise Food may not be returned.

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper. However, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days). We’ll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we’ve received and processed the returned item.
