March 26 is the start of this season’s monthly Adoption Saturday event when you can make a desert tortoise a member of your family!! These Adoption Saturday Events will continue monthly until September. Attending this session is required for anyone interested in adopting a desert tortoise. NOW IS THE TIME to begin preparation to adopt this year! In this seminar we cover seasonal desert tortoise behavior, creating a backyard habitat, and general tortoise care. This is a recorded video available to you 24×7 for your convenience. The content is the same as our live Zoom sessions available from time to time and showcases all the information available to you on our website. At the conclusion of the recorded session you will be given the email of our adoption coordinator who is available to answer any of your questions during the adoption process and to approve your burrow and habitat for adoption.
