Meet the desert icons in-person, Mojave Desert Tortoises at this family event! Learn about their hardcore lifestyle and how it’s under threat, talk to the fine folks from the Tortoise Group about tortoise adoption in Nevada, and peruse a selection of Desert Tortoise Council merchandise. And for the whole month of November, for every Exit 23 Pale Ale you purchase, Mojave Brewing will give $1 dollar to support the work of the Desert Tortoise Council and the Tortoise Group for tortoises right here in southern Nevada! See you there!
The mission of the Desert Tortoise Council is to assure the perpetual survival of viable populations of desert tortoises throughout their historical ranges.
Mojave Brewing is located at 107 S. Water Street in Henderson, Nevada’s beautiful, historic Water Street District, but you can also find Mojave beer and hard cider on tap and in cans at many of Southern Nevada’s restaurants, bars and grocery stores.
Tortoise Group is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that has been educating and advocating for the protection and well-being of the Desert Tortoise since 1982.
