Volunteer Primary Training Workshop

Tortoise Group’s Volunteer Primary Training Workshop is designed to give every Tortoise Group volunteer background knowledge on desert tortoise biology, backyard habitat and care, the law, and upcoming volunteer opportunities for 2023! This training is mandatory for new volunteers who have not attended a Volunteer Workshop in the past. The workshop will be recorded and posted for volunteers not able to join the live event.
This year’s workshop will be hybrid with the option to attend in-person or join us virtually (Zoom link below)!
If you will be attending in-person, we will be hosting the workshop at Big Brothers Big Sisters’ office. 2880 Meade Ave. Suite 250 Las Vegas, NV 89102 (second level)
